Pipistrelle is in Bream, which is in the Forest of Dean. It’s a converted barn, one of three on the same site. You get your own patio and parking spot right outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one shower room. The double bedroom is on the ground floor. The twin bedroom is upstairs. There’s a wood burner in the main living area. The Wi-Fi works fine. It has a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Patio doors open out to a table and chairs and a barbecue. There’s an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you’re bringing children.
Bream itself is quiet. The nearest shop and cafe are about a mile away. You’re right in the forest for walking. The cycling trails are very good, from family routes to serious mountain biking. You can hire bikes locally.
Within about half an hour’s drive, you’ve got places like Beechenhurst for play areas and walks, Puzzlewood, and Clearwell Caves. For a day out, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle aren’t far. The market towns of Monmouth and Coleford are close by.
