Honey Cottage
Honey Cottage is in Newland, Gloucestershire. It's on our land, but it's completely separate. The view out the back is just fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's nice and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep. There's a stairgate at the top if you need it.
Outside, you've got your own bit of patio and garden. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a wood burner for cooler nights, and the wood is included. You get all the usual things: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided.
In the village, there's an award-winning pub you can walk to in about ten minutes. The shop is a couple of miles away in Coleford.
You're right by the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Good for walking, cycling, all that. For a day out, Puzzlewood is about 15 minutes by car, that's the place they used in films. Chepstow Castle and Goodrich Castle are both within half an hour. Further afield, you've got Hereford in one direction and the Severn Bridge into Wales in the other.
