Mountain View
Mountain View is in Morfa Bychan, just outside Porthmadog. It's a modern semi-detached bungalow. You get two dogs, which is handy.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The shower is a walk-in and it's good. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well looked after and comfortable, with decent furniture. Everything works.
The main living area is open plan. Doors open out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good with dogs or kids. There's a gate at the back that leads onto a path. You follow that path down to Black Rock Sands beach. Takes about fifteen minutes to walk. It's a huge sandy beach, two miles long.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine in a utility room out by the garden. On-site parking.
Porthmadog town is two miles away. There are shops, supermarkets, and places to eat. It's where the Welsh Highland Railway station is. Portmeirion is a fifteen minute drive. Harlech Castle is about twelve miles south.
You're right next to the Snowdonia National Park boundary. For walking, you're in a good spot for both coast and mountains. For planning, the Snowdonia National Park Authority site is useful. National Trust Wales covers nearby places like Penrhyn Castle.
The local golf course is just there. You can see it from the house. Other things nearby are horse riding, and fishing. Quad biking and that sort of thing are available locally if you book.
