The Hayloft Barn
The Hayloft Barn is in Pentrefelin. It’s a single-storey barn conversion on our smallholding. There are sheep in the fields around it, and we have two donkeys.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a shower room attached. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern, but it's a barn, so it's simple and cosy.
The track leading up to it is rough. It’s a farm track, so take it slowly in a normal car.
You’re about halfway between Porthmadog and Criccieth. Both are about ten minutes by car. Porthmadog has shops and the Ffestiniog Railway station. Criccieth has a castle and a beach. The closest beach for a proper walk is about two and a half miles away.
You’re on the edge of Snowdonia. You can see the mountains from here. For walks, you can drive into the Snowdonia National Park or out onto the Llyn Peninsula. Portmeirion is a ten minute drive.
The facilities are what you’d expect. There’s a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. The patio has a BBQ. You can bring two dogs.
