The Hayloft Barn
The Hayloft Barn is on our smallholding near Pentrefelin. We've got sheep grazing and two donkeys, Jack and Dylan, who are friendly and might come over to say hello. You're surrounded by fields here, with views across to the mountains and a glimpse of Cardigan Bay in the distance.
It's a converted barn, so it's one big open space upstairs for the living area and the bedroom. It sleeps three, with a double bed and a single. The bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The track up to it is rough, so take it steady in a low car.
You're about halfway between Criccieth and Porthmadog, both are a few miles away. Criccieth has a castle and a nice beach. Porthmadog is where you can get the Ffestiniog Railway up into the mountains. Portmeirion, that Italianate village, is a short drive away too.
You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park for walking. The Lleyn Peninsula is also right there for coastal drives and beaches. There's a golf course nearby.
For facilities: it's open plan, with a TV and WiFi. There's a washing machine, a patio with a BBQ, and your own parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. The Hayloft can be booked with our other two barns if you're coming as a bigger group.
