Bryn Gwalia
Right, so Bryn Gwalia is in Criccieth. It's a house, not a cottage really. It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, and there are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, it's clean, it works for a big group.
The main living room is at the front. There's a woodburning stove. Out the back there's a conservatory that leads onto a big, enclosed garden. There are a few fruit trees out there. Four of the bedrooms look towards the castle, the other one faces the garden and you can see the mountains.
You're about 150 metres from the path down to Black Rock Sands. It's a huge sandy beach. The town itself has two main beaches, both Blue Flag, on either side of the castle. Everything you need is in walking distance: shops, a supermarket, pubs, some good restaurants.
For getting about: the whole of the Llyn Peninsula is on your doorstep. You can walk the coast path from here. Portmeirion is about a ten minute drive. Snowdonia National Park is within half an hour if you want mountains. There's also a steam railway at Porthmadog, which is just down the road.
In the house you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV. Parking for a couple of cars on site. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed. The front door is wheelchair accessible, but the bathrooms aren't adapted, just so you know.
