Isfryn

Isfryn is a big detached house near Llanystumdwy, on the Llyn Peninsula. It used to be the gamekeeper's cottage for an old farm. It's very quiet here.

It sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is all enclosed, which is good if you’ve got children or a dog. We take one pet.

The stairs are typical for an old cottage, so they’re a bit steeper than in a modern house. There's a woodburning stove, plenty of parking, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away. There's a shop in Criccieth, which is two miles. Criccieth has a castle, a few pubs and shops, and a nice beach. Porthmadog is about a ten minute drive, where you can get the Ffestiniog Railway. You can walk straight from the house into the countryside.

For beaches, Black Rock Sands near Porthmadog is huge and good for dogs. Abersoch is about twenty five minutes by car, which is more for sailing and watersports. The Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible, about half an hour to the main mountain areas.
