This is Isfryn. It's our place in Llanystumdwy, near Criccieth on the Llŷn Peninsula.
It's a detached house, a bit bigger than some. It used to be the gamekeeper's cottage for the old farm. Sleeps nine, in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, got everything you need. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.
It's quiet here, quite rural. You can walk from the door. The local pub is about three quarters of a mile up the road. They do food. The nearest shop is in Criccieth, two miles away.
Criccieth has a castle, beaches, and places to eat. The beach there is sandy. Porthmadog is about ten minutes by car, where you can get the Ffestiniog Railway. Pwllheli is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes, for more shops and the marina.
Snowdonia isn't far. You can drive to the edges of the national park in under half an hour for walking. The whole peninsula is good for coastal walks.
For facilities, it's got the basics: Wi-Fi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a woodburner for colder evenings. Parking for a couple of cars. We include bedding, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them.
