Ty John
Ty John is in Abererch, near Pwllheli. It's a detached, modern cottage.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, which is unusual. One has a walk-in shower, the other has a bath. The stairs are standard, nothing tricky.
Downstairs is all open plan. There's a lounge and dining area that leads into the kitchen. The kitchen has another little seating nook that looks out into the back garden. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog, and it gets the sun.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. There's private parking, and space to store a small boat or jet ski round the back if you arrange it ahead of time.
You're about a ten-minute walk from Abererch beach, which is sandy and good for swimming. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs.
Pwllheli is two miles away for bigger supermarkets. The sailing club and marina are there. The Llyn Peninsula is good for walking, especially the coastal path. For golf, there's a course at Pwllheli, and another at Abersoch which is about a fifteen-minute drive.
Further out, you've got Portmeirion village about twenty minutes away, and the castles at Harlech and Criccieth are within half an hour. Snowdonia is about a forty-five minute drive if you fancy the mountains.
