Bwthyn

This is Bwthyn. It's near Llanystumdwy in Gwynedd, on the edge of a working dairy farm. You'll see and hear the cows. They're friendly.

It's a detached cottage. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both have their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything is on one floor inside, which is handy.

You've got a garden and patio to yourselves. Parking right there. It has WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. You can bring two dogs.

Criccieth is about three miles away. That's your nearest proper beach. It's pebbly, with a promenade. There are cafes and shops there. The beach at Pwllheli is sandy and much bigger, about a fifteen minute drive.

You're right on the edge of the Llŷn Peninsula, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastal path is all along here. You might see dolphins or seals from the headlands.

Porthmadog is about a twenty minute drive. That's where the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway is. Also Portmeirion, the Italianate village. It's a bit different.

The Snowdonia National Park is about half an hour's drive inland if you want mountains. There's a golf course a couple of miles away.

So it's quiet and a bit rural, but you're not far from things. Useful if you want a base to walk or just look at the sea.
