The Stable

The Stable is in Pentrefelin. It's a barn we converted. It's detached and you're on our smallholding, so there are fields and sheep around. We've got two donkeys. They're friendly and they'll probably come over to say hello.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The main thing is the view. There are floor to ceiling windows at one end, so you can see the mountains and, on a clear day, Cardigan Bay.

You get to it down a rough farm track. It's fine for normal cars, just take it slow.

You're about halfway between Criccieth and Porthmadog. Both are about ten minutes by car. Criccieth has a castle on the headland and a nice beach. Porthmadog has the harbour and the Ffestiniog Railway station if you want a steam train trip. The famous Portmeirion village is just the other side of Porthmadog.

You're right between the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula. So you can drive into the mountains for walking, or go out west to the peninsula beaches. The coast path is accessible. Abersoch and Nefyn are within half an hour if you want more seaside.

Facilities: it's open plan. There's a patio with a BBQ, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
