The Stable is in Pentrefelin. It's a converted stone barn, detached, on our farm. You look out over fields towards the sea, and the mountains are behind you. You get the whole building and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room are there for the view. They're good.
You reach us down a farm track. It's fine for normal cars, just a bit bumpy in places. The track is shared with us and the other holiday lets. We have sheep in the fields and two donkeys. They're friendly and might come over.
You're about halfway between Criccieth and Porthmadog. Each is two and a half miles away. Criccieth has a castle, a beach, and places to eat. Porthmadog is where you get the Ffestiniog Railway steam trains up into the mountains. Portmeirion village is nearby, which is an unusual place to visit.
You're right between the Snowdonia National Park and the Lleyn Peninsula. So you can drive into the mountains for walks or go west to the coastal paths. The beach at Black Rock Sands is a few minutes' drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and heating is included. We provide bedding and towels. Outside there's a patio with a BBQ, and parking for two cars.
You can bring up to two dogs. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them.
