Woodville

This is Woodville. It's a terrace cottage in Porthmadog. Sleeps four, one dog welcome.

It's got three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Downstairs you've got a living room, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with a table. Out the back is a walled courtyard garden with some chairs. It's private.

Porthmadog's a proper harbour town. The main thing is the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway. The station's right there. You can get the train up into the mountains.

Black Rock Sands beach is about ten minutes away by car. It's a big, flat beach you can drive onto. Portmeirion, that Italianate village, is just the other side of the estuary. Worth a look.

Inland you've got Blaenau Ffestiniog, maybe twenty minutes drive. That's where Zip World and Bounce Below are, if that's your sort of thing. It's also the start of the slate mining history.

For walking, you're on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Harlech Castle is down the coast, about fifteen minutes. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Facilities: it's got the basics covered. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the street outside.

The place runs on a green energy tariff. They plant some trees each year for it.
