Right, so this is Noddfa. It's in Harlech, on the main road in between the castle and the golf course. You get a clear view of both, and you can see the sea past the links. It's a big detached house, sleeps twenty. Eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The front part was added in the 1850s, so the ceilings are high and there's a lot of ornate plasterwork. There's even an old bell tower. It feels grand, but it's been refurbished for groups. There's a big dining table that seats everyone, a large drawing room looking over the golf course, a cinema room, and a farmhouse kitchen.
Because it's an old house, the layout is a bit spread out. Some rooms are down a couple of steps from others. The gardens wrap around the place and there's plenty of parking.
The town centre is about half a mile for shops. There's a pub 300 yards away. The beach is a proper sandy one, down the hill. It's a good beach for swimming.
You're well placed for the main things around here. Portmeirion village is about fifteen minutes by car. The Ffestiniog Railway at Porthmadog is about twenty minutes. For Snowdon, you drive to the foot of the mountain in under half an hour to pick a route up.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner, a cot and highchair. WiFi works. You can bring one dog.
