Harbour View
This is Harbour View, a terraced house on South Snowdon Wharf in Porthmadog. It's a modern place. The main thing is the harbour view. You can see the boats and, right at the end of the line, the little steam trains from the Ffestiniog Railway come and go. The view changes with the tide. There's a balcony out the back where you can sit and watch it all.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You're right in the middle of things here. The town centre is a short walk away for shops and places to eat. There's a pub about 50 yards from the door. The beach at Black Rock Sands is two miles down the road. It's a big, sandy beach, good for a walk or letting kids run about.
For days out, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways start here. You can get a train straight from the harbour up to Blaenau Ffestiniog or across to Caernarfon. Portmeirion village is ten minutes by car. It's unusual, worth a look. If you want something more active, Blaenau Ffestiniog has Zip World and Bounce Below. Snowdonia is right on your doorstep for walking.
