This is Arddwyn. It's a detached cottage in Penrhyndeudraeth, just outside the Snowdonia National Park. It's on a quiet lane, but you can walk to the village centre in a few minutes.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living area is open plan. It has a wood burner. It got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The entrance is level, which is good for anyone with limited mobility, but the toilet is upstairs and the shower is over the bath.
The local pub is a five minute walk. There's a shop, a café and a train station in the village. The station is for the main line and also the Ffestiniog steam railway. You can take that down to Porthmadog or up to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Black Rock Sands beach is about a ten minute drive. You can park on the sand there. Portmeirion is even closer, maybe five minutes by car. Harlech Castle is about fifteen minutes away.
For walking, you have the Snowdonia National Park on the doorstep. For coast path walks, the Visit Wales site has good information. For the National Park, check the Snowdonia National Park Authority website.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car. You can bring one dog.
