Fron Cottage
Fron Cottage is in Minffordd. It's right next to Portmeirion. You can see the estuary from the back garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The decor is fresh. There's one shower, no bath.
The garden is enclosed. It gets the sun in the evening. You can sit out there and look at the water.
Portmeirion village is about a five-minute walk. You can go for a meal at the hotel or just walk around. The woods there lead down to a small beach. National Trust Snowdonia has information on the area.
Black Rock Sands beach is about ten minutes by car. You can drive onto it. Harlech beach is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes. The castle is there too.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a cot and highchair if you need them, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding is included. We take up to two dogs.
If you want to go into the mountains, Snowdonia is about a half hour drive. Snowdonia National Park has the details on parking and trails.
