This is 4 Tan Y Bryn Terrace. It's a terraced house in Prenteg, which is a small place near Porthmadog. It’s in a row of houses up on the hillside, so you get a view of the mountains from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The renovation kept some of the old character but put in proper heating and a decent shower.
The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's a washing machine, a TV, and the WiFi is reliable enough. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
You're about a mile and a half from the nearest shop and pub. Porthmadog is three miles down the road. That's where you'll find supermarkets, more places to eat, a leisure centre, and the harbour. The beaches there are sandy and good for water sports.
For walks or bike rides, you can start right from the door. The Pont Croesor station for the Welsh Highland Railway is only half a mile away if you want a trip on the steam train. The Ffestiniog Railway is close too.
Within half an hour you can get to a lot. Portmeirion village is nearby. There's the slate caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, which also has the zip wire and mountain bike trails. You can drive into Snowdonia for walking, or up to the coast around Harlech and its castle. The nesting ospreys are at Glaslyn, which isn't far.
