Croesor Bach is our farmhouse up in the Croesor valley. It's detached, on its own at the end of a track, about a quarter of a mile long. You'll need to drive up it.
It sleeps eight, but it's a proper old place, not a modern one. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower. It's got a three star rating, so it's clean and well equipped, but basic in a way. It's a farmhouse.
The location is the main thing. It's up the valley, facing south. You can see the sea in the distance from the garden. The garden is enclosed, just a simple lawn and patio area. You get complete quiet up there.
If you like walking, you can just go straight out the door and up into the hills. You're on the slopes of Moelwyn Mawr. For shops and a pub, you go down to Tanygrisiau or Maentwrog, about two miles.
Beddgelert is seven miles, a nice village by the river. Porthmadog is the same distance for supermarkets and the harbour. The beaches at Black Rock Sands are about eight miles. Criccieth is eleven miles, with its castle.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. We've put in an electric vehicle charger too. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
