Llwyn Rhedyn
Llwyn Rhedyn is in Blaenau Ffestiniog. That's up in the slate hills, so it's a proper old quarry town, not a chocolate box village. The apartment is on the ground floor of the main house. It has its own entrance.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom has a big jacuzzi bath. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
You can hear the Ffestiniog Railway steam trains from here sometimes. They chuff past not far away on their way down to Porthmadog.
This area is known for the big adventure places now. They're all close by. There's Bounce Below, which is trampolines in an old slate cavern. Zipworld Titan is the huge zip wire. And there are the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails if you bring your own bike.
For walking, you're right in the Snowdonia National Park. There are good routes straight from the door. Betws-y-Coed and Swallow Falls are about a twenty minute drive. The Llyn Peninsula is a bit further, maybe forty minutes, but it's quieter over there.
The place has a patio area. There's parking. Wifi and TV are included. There's a washing machine. We can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
There's a shop and a pub a few minutes walk away. The pub does food.
