Bryn Rhos Goch is in Cwm Penmachno. It's a terraced cottage, fairly small. It's in a quiet valley, so it's very peaceful. You're in Snowdonia here, so it's all walking and mountains out the window.
It sleeps two. There are two bedrooms but they're both small doubles, so it's really best for a couple. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a show home.
There's a wood burner, which works well. You get a basket of logs to start you off. There's no mobile signal at the cottage and the TV can't pick up normal channels, but there is WiFi and a DVD player. We've left a bunch of DVDs there.
The garden is out the front. It's got a table and chairs. You look straight at the hills.
For shops and a pub, you need to drive. The nearest pub is about four miles, in Penmachno. The closest shop is about three miles.
You're right on the edge of the Gwydyr Forest for walking. Betws-y-Coed is about a fifteen minute drive. From there, you can get to Zip World Fforest or the Ffestiniog Railway. Surf Snowdonia, the wave pool, is maybe half an hour away. Conwy and its castle are about forty minutes. Llandudno is a bit further.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is for one car right outside.
