This is Benar Bach. It's one of two cottages, but it's completely separate. The place is just for two people.
It's an old building, from the 16th century. That means the walls are thick, the doors are low, and the character is genuine. It's got a proper bathroom with a good shower, and the bedroom is upstairs.
The best part is outside. You get your own terrace and a bit of lawn that goes right down to a stream. You can hear the water. It's very quiet, and you'll see birds and things.
You can step straight out the door and go for a walk into Gwydyr Forest. If you're into mountain biking, the Penmachno trails start right here. You don't need to drive anywhere.
Betws-y-Coed is about a ten minute drive. It's got shops and cafes. The village of Penmachno is closer, just over a mile to walk. There's a pub there that does food.
You're well placed for getting out. Yr Wyddfa, Snowdon, is about 25 minutes by car if you want to climb it. There are castles everywhere around here, like Conwy and Caernarfon.
Inside, it's comfortable. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi. The bed is made up for you. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.
