Benar Cottages - Bwthyn Rhosyn
Benar Cottages are up on the hillside near Penmachno. Bwthyn Rhosyn is one of three, and it's all on one floor. You get a good view out over the Machno Valley from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs, but we don't take pets here. There's a woodburning stove for winter, and an electric vehicle charger.
You can walk straight from the door into the Gwydyr Forest. The Penmachno Mountain Bike Trails start right here too. The Marin Trail is a short drive away if you're into that.
The village pub and shop are about a mile down the lane. Betws-y-Coed is close by for more places to eat and shop.
If you want a big day out, Blaenau Ffestiniog is about twenty minutes drive. They've got the underground trampolining at Bounce Below and the big zip wires at Zipworld. Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa, is roughly twenty five minutes away if you fancy the mountain. Bodnant Garden is within half an hour. The coast at Llandudno or Conwy is about the same.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, a cot, and parking. The WiFi works fine.
