Benar Cottages - Bwthyn Rhosyn
This is Bwthyn Rhosyn, one of three cottages here at Benar. It's all on one floor, which is handy. It looks out over the Machno Valley from the hillside. You can see trees and fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The garden is enclosed, so it's private. There's parking right outside, and an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
You can walk straight from the door into the Gwydyr Forest. The Penmachno mountain bike trails start here too. There's a place to store bikes.
The village shop and a pub are about a mile away. The pub does food. Betws-y-Coed is a short drive and has more places to eat and shops.
If you want to go out for the day, Yr Wyddfa – Snowdon – is about 25 minutes by car. The Bodnant Garden is beautiful and not far. The coast at Llandudno and Conwy is within half an hour. For something different, the slate cavern adventures at Blaenau Ffestiniog are about a 20 minute drive.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for colder nights, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. No pets, I'm afraid.
