Rhydlanfair
Rhydlanfair is a self-contained part of an old farmhouse up in Capel Garmon. It's our place, but it's separate. You get the two bedrooms and the kitchen for yourselves.
The house itself is from the 17th century. It's not huge inside, but it's comfortable. There's a wood-burning stove in the living room, which is good. The bed in the main bedroom is a French rosewood one. The stairs are steep and narrow because it's an old place.
You're right in the middle of a 200-acre farm. It's National Trust land. There'll be sheep, cattle, and sometimes ponies in the fields. We've made a farm trail you can walk.
It's a good spot for walking or biking straight from the door. The Conwy Valley paths are all around. Betws y Coed is about ten minutes by car. They've got a leisure centre there with a pool and a sauna, and you get free use of it, which is a nice bonus.
You've got your own patio and garden area. There's an EV charger, parking, a washing machine, and a cot if you need it. We can take up to two dogs.
For days out, Llanrwst and Conwy are both within twenty minutes or so. Snowdonia is on the doorstep. Useful links for planning: National Trust Snowdonia and Snowdonia National Park.
