Smithy House is in Betws y Coed. It's right in the village, about a five minute walk from the shops and the station. The building used to be the village blacksmith's. It's divided into two cottages now, and Smithy House is the one on the ground and first floor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The owners live next door, so it's quiet but handy if you need anything. There's a patio out the back with a garden area.
You can walk into the Gwydir Forest from the back gate. There's a good walk around Llyn Elsi lake from there too. Or you can walk down past the golf course and the old church by the river. The village has a few pubs and restaurants. They're about 300 yards away.
For bigger days out, Zip World Fforest is just up the road. They've got the treetop nets and the Fforest Coaster. Surf Snowdonia, the inland surf place, is about a 20 minute drive. The coast at Llandudno is roughly 45 minutes by car.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking for one car on site. No pets, sorry. All the bedding is included.
