Siabod

This is Siabod. It's in Llanddoged, a village just outside Llanrwst. It's a barn that's been converted, sleeps eight. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything is in good order and it's well looked after.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. The lounge has beams and a woodburning stove. The main thing is the view out the back, over the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau mountains. You can sit in the garden with that view.

The property notes mention open, steep, or narrow stairs. They are what they are.

Llanrwst is about a mile and a half away for shops and the Tuesday market. Betws-y-Coed is about six miles. Conwy, with the castle and harbour, is fourteen miles. Llandudno is not much further for the seaside and the pier.

You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. For walking, you can head straight into the park. For gardens, Bodnant Garden is close. Surf Snowdonia, the artificial wave, is in the valley. There are castles everywhere: Conwy, Caernarfon, Dolwyddelan.

Facilities wise: It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has grab rails. There's parking on site. Pets are allowed, up to two. It has wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

If you're planning, these are the main official sites: Snowdonia National Park and Visit Wales.
