This is Dol Y Mynydd. It's near Pandy Tudur, which is a quiet spot in Conwy county. The name means 'Mountain Meadow', which is about right. It's a hillside cabin for two.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. It's a glamping setup, so it's a step up from basic but still feels like a cabin. You're not in a hotel.
The main thing is the view. You look out towards Snowdon. It's a proper panoramic view over rolling countryside. The cabin sits in its own wildflower garden, so it's private. You'll hear birds and often see red kites overhead. There are farm animals in the surrounding fields.
It's rural. You'll need a car. The nearest pub is a few miles away in Llangernyw. It's a good local with log fires. They do food, including a Sunday roast and takeaway pizzas.
For a day out, Betws-y-Coed is about a 30 minute drive. It's a popular village with an alpine feel, lots of shops and places to eat. You're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park here, so walking and hiking is the big activity. Routes like those around Llyn Crafnant are easier but still scenic.
If you want bigger attractions, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia, and the Forest Coaster are all within a 30-40 minute drive. The North Wales coast, like the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula or Conwy, is under an hour away.
What's here at the cabin? There's a patio garden with a BBQ, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. The shower is en-suite. It's off-grid for style, but electricity and utilities are included. It's a romantic setting, so it's really just for two people. No pets.
There's another cabin on site called Cwt Celyn. You can book both together if you're a group of four.
