Bryn Hyfryd is a detached house up a rough farm track just outside Llanrwst. You get the whole place to yourselves. The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the Conwy Valley towards Snowdonia. You can see Surf Snowdonia from the deck.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms upstairs. Two bathrooms, one up, one down. It's a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good working order. There are two living rooms, both with wood burners. The stairs are spiral and a bit steep.
Outside there's a big deck with a hot tub and a BBQ. The bi-fold doors open right out from the dining area. You can get two dogs in.
The nearest pub is about half a mile down the lane. Llanrwst has shops and is a couple of minutes away by car. Betws-y-Coed is about ten minutes drive, in the Gwydyr Forest. Good for walks.
For days out, Bodnant Garden is a fifteen minute drive. It's National Trust. Llandudno is about twenty five minutes, with the Great Orme and the beach. Conwy with the castle and walls is twenty minutes.
If you're after activity things, Surf Snowdonia is just over the valley, five minutes away. Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed has tree nets and a coaster. The bigger Zip World site in Blaenau Ffestiniog is about forty minutes.
Facilities: everything on the list is here. Washing machine, dishwasher, bikes can be stored, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking for two cars right outside.
