Bryn Hyfryd

Bryn Hyfryd is in Llanrwst, North Wales. It's a detached cottage up a rough track, so the car will get a bit dusty. The track means it's very private. You get the whole place to yourselves.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.

The main thing is the view. The back of the house faces the Conwy Valley, looking straight towards Snowdonia. There are bi-fold doors that open right up onto a big deck. You can see Surf Snowdonia across the valley from there. The deck has a hot tub.

Inside, there are two living rooms, both with wood burners. It's a good layout if some people want to watch TV and others want a bit of quiet.

The local pub is about half a mile away. The closest shop is in Llanrwst, about five minutes drive.

You're well placed for getting out. Bodnant Garden is a short drive away and is excellent for a walk. National Trust Bodnant Garden. Conwy is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a proper castle town with walls you can walk around. Llandudno is twenty minutes in the other direction if you want shops or the pier.

For activities, Betws-y-Coed is ten minutes away in the Gwydyr Forest. Zip World Fforest there has the tree nets and a coaster. Further into Snowdonia, you've got all the walking and the big Zip World site at Blaenau Ffestiniog, which is about half an hour's drive.

Facilities are all there: WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars right outside. You can bring two dogs.
