Trem Yr Ynys is in the middle of Betws y Coed. It's a tall house, spread over three floors. The garden is a decent size and you can see the river from it.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good order. You can bring up to three dogs.
The stairs are typical for an old Welsh house. They're a bit narrow and turn sharply in places.
You're right in the town. There's a shop a couple of minutes' walk away. The nearest pub is about a minute away, and a restaurant is just a bit further. You can hear some street noise because of the location.
For getting out, you can walk straight from the door onto forest and mountain paths. The Snowdonia National Park site has walking ideas. For cycling, the Marin Trail and other tracks start nearby.
Within half an hour you can drive to Swallow Falls, the Zip Wire at Penrhyn, or the Bodnant Garden. Conwy Castle is about 25 minutes away. Llanberis, for the train up Snowdon, is a 20 minute drive. Llandudno is roughly half an hour.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the drive. We provide a cot and a highchair.
