Rhydlanfair Cottage
Rhydlanfair Cottage is in Capel Garmon. That’s just outside Betws-y-Coed, maybe a three minute drive. It’s an old stone barn we converted. It’s detached, opposite our farmhouse.
It’s one bedroom and sleeps two. There’s one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. The living area is upstairs, under the beams. The stairs are there, they’re fine.
You’re on a working farm. You can walk around the farm trail. We have a donkey who likes to say hello. There’s a patio for you, and a BBQ.
You get free use of the local leisure centre. It’s got a pool, sauna, and a gym. That’s included.
Betws-y-Coed is three miles away for shops and cafés. Swallow Falls is there. Capel Curig, which has the Plas y Brenin mountaineering centre, is about ten minutes by car. For walking, you’re right in Snowdonia National Park. There are trails from the door.
You can get to Conwy, Porthmadog, and Bala Lake within half an hour’s drive if you fancy a change.
Facilities: woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, on-site parking, bike storage, washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We allow up to two pets. There’s a stairgate.
