Riverside Cottage is in Pont y Pant, up the Lledr Valley from Betws-y-Coed. It's a detached stone cottage, built around 1830. It's part of a working farm of 42 acres, but the cottage and its bit of garden are private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. It's been renovated. There's a wood burner in the living room, but it's electric. The main bedroom has low beams, so watch your head.
The kitchen has an extension on the back. Outside is a stone patio with a table. It's enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. The view is over fields towards the river and Moel Siobod.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. You can walk or ride straight from the door onto farm tracks and paths. Betws-y-Coed for shops, a pub, and a restaurant is two miles back down the valley.
For days out, you've got all the big things nearby. The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway is in Porthmadog. Zip World with the zip wires and underground stuff is at Bethesda and Blaenau. Conwy Castle, Bodnant Garden, and the beaches at Llandudno are all within about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking, and bike storage. Bedding is included. A cot, highchair, and stairgate are there if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
