This is Bryn Gefeiliau. It's a barn conversion on a working sheep farm between Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig. It's single-storey, so no stairs to worry about.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 2 Star rating. It's clean and does the job, but it's not luxurious.
You're right in the mountains here. The view from the front looks straight up at Moel Siabod. It's a good base if you're walking or climbing. You can be on the National Trust paths around the Ogwen Valley quickly. For cyclists, the mountain bike trails at Gwydir Forest are close by.
The nearest pub is about a mile away in Pont Cyfyng. For a shop or a restaurant, you'd drive to Betws-y-Coed, which is two and a half miles. It's a proper little town with places to eat and some outdoor shops.
You can get to a lot from here. Conwy and its castle are about a 20-minute drive. Bodnant Garden is a bit further, maybe 30 minutes. Llandudno for the beach is about the same. And of course, you're right on the doorstep for Snowdon. The Pen-y-Pass car park for the Miner's Track is a short drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We accept up to two dogs.
