Gwernol is in Dolwyddelan. It's an end-of-terrace cottage, stone built, pretty much like the others on the row. You get a small garden out the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but it's not a show home. The stairs are a bit narrow, you know, like old cottages have.
There's an open fire in the main room and a multi-fuel burner too, so you can be cosy. We leave some wood for you to start with. The living space is all open plan downstairs.
The village has a shop and a pub about five minutes walk away. The pub does food. Dolwyddelan Castle is just up the road, it's a good hour's visit. The train station is in the village too, so you can get to Betws-y-Coed or Llandudno without the car.
Walking starts from the door. There's a quiet valley called Cwm Penamnen right there. For bigger things, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are about fifteen minutes by car. Betws-y-Coed is ten minutes the other way.
For facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a place to put bikes, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking on the street outside.
