This is Bwthyn Pabi. It's a terraced stone cottage in Penmachno, which is inside the Snowdonia National Park. It's a proper old village. The cottage sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The ceilings are low in places. It's stone-built, so the walls are thick.
You've got a woodburning stove for cooler nights. There's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and all your bedding and towels are here. There's a small garden out the back. Parking is on the lane right outside.
The local pub is a few minutes' walk away. The nearest shop is about four and a half miles, in Betws-y-Coed. That's your main hub for cafes and outdoor shops. The Swallow Falls are near there too.
You're right in the middle of the mountains here. The Bike Park Wales trails and lots of walking routes start close by. If you want to go on the train up Snowdon, you'd need to book that well in advance.
For a day out, Conwy Castle and the sea are about a 30 minute drive. Bodnant Garden is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Blaenau Ffestiniog is 20 minutes away if you fancy the underground zip wires or cavern tours.
