Trem Y Foel is a converted stable on a working farm. It's in Capel Garmon, about four miles south of Betws-y-Coed. Quite high up so the views are good. You look out towards Snowdon and the Glyders.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's very warm, with underfloor heating and a log burner. The electricity is from a hydro system on the farm, and the water's from a spring. The kitchen is a decent size.
You're on a small farm. The owners keep chickens. You're welcome to collect eggs in the morning, if you want to. The patio area is yours to use. It's quiet here.
Betws-y-Coed is the nearest place for shops and a few pubs. It's about a ten minute drive. For walking, you're right on the edge of it. The National Trust Snowdonia page has good ideas. The Conwy Valley path is nearby for easier walks. Llanrwst is a short drive, it's a nice little market town.
The cottage has wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
You can book it with the other cottage next door if you're a larger group.
