4 Banc Llugwy
4 Banc Llugwy is in Betws y Coed, right in Snowdonia. It's a small, two-up two-down stone cottage. You get the garden out the back. It's enclosed and looks out onto trees at the bottom.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and warm, not particularly modern. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn and are a bit steep.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about a ten minute walk away. You can get a decent meal. The cottage is good for walking straight from the door. The Snowdonia National Park site is useful for planning.
You're about a twenty minute drive from most of the trailheads for Snowdon itself. The Gwydir Forest is even closer, maybe five minutes by car, for the mountain bike trails and the lake.
For a day out, Conwy is a half hour drive. The castle and walls are impressive. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site. The coast, like Llandudno, is about the same distance if you fancy the seaside.
Inside, there's a wood burner. We leave some logs to get you started. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
