Ty Newydd
This is Ty Newydd. It's our cottage just outside Betws y Coed, on the road towards Conwy. It's a 17th century place, detached. You're right in the Snowdonia National Park here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's old, so mind your head on some of the beams.
You've got the Gwydyr Forest right on the doorstep for walks or biking. You can walk into Betws y Coed in about fifteen minutes along the forestry track. The village has shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and an indoor pool.
The location is good for getting around. Conwy and its castle are about twenty minutes by car. Llandudno and the Great Orme are maybe half an hour. For the big attractions, Zip World and Surf Snowdonia are within a twenty minute drive. The Bodnant Garden is worth a trip. You can get the train from Betws y Coed down to the coast, which is a nice way to see the valley without driving.
The cottage has parking, and an electric vehicle charger. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a dishwasher and washing machine. The garden is yours to use. We allow up to two pets. All bedding and towels are included, and we've got a cot and highchair if needed.
