Frondeg is in Capel Garmon. It's a stone cottage on a hillside, so the views are good. You're out in the fields but Betws-y-Coed is only about ten minutes away by car.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been fitted out to a high standard. Everything's new and works well. The road up to it is single track, so just take it slow.
Betws-y-Coed has what you need: shops, pubs that do food, and places to hire bikes or gear. For walking, you've got the rivers and hills right there. Llyn Elsi is a nice walk from the village. The National Trust has a few sites nearby too.
The Marin Bike Trails are just down the valley. Llyn Geirionydd is by there, which is a good spot if you fancy a swim or using a paddleboard. Llechwedd Slate Caverns are about twenty minutes away, if you want an indoor activity.
Conwy is less than half an hour's drive. The castle is impressive, and you can walk the walls. There's a small beach at Morfa Conway that allows dogs. For a bigger day out, the coast or deeper into Snowdonia National Park are all within reach.
The cottage has a wood burner, a dishwasher, and parking. There's a garden with a barbecue. WiFi and TV are included. It has an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
