Clawdd Gwyn is a detached cottage in Llanrhychwyn, just outside Llanrwst. It's a modern place, but built in a traditional stone style. It sits on its own, so it's quiet.
It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms, but they're all quite big, with double beds, and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it, really. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's all on one level, and the entrance and doorways are suitable for a wheelchair.
The living space is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining table, and a sitting area with a wood burner. It's a double-sided burner, so you can also see it from a second, smaller sitting room next door. It's a good layout if you've got kids, or if some people want to watch a different TV.
Outside, there's a patio and garden area. You can park right next to the cottage.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher. You can bring up to two dogs. It's got Christmas decorations if you're booking over that period.
The nearest shop and pub are in Trefriw, about a mile and a quarter down the road. Betws-y-Coed is about ten minutes by car for more shops and cafes.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. For activities, Adventure Parc Snowdonia is about a 20-minute drive. They have surfing and climbing things. The lakes, Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant, are a short drive or a decent walk away. Conwy and its castle are about a 20-minute drive. The coast at Llandudno is maybe half an hour.
