The Bothy is on our farm in Trefriw. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. Detached. Larch and stone built, like a little hut. You have your own enclosed garden and patio with the hot tub.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. The bathroom is en suite. The living space is open plan with a kitchen, a sofa, and a wood burner. You don't need the burner for heat, but it's nice to have on. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's an electric vehicle charger by the parking spot.
The stairs to the sleeping loft are a ship's ladder. It's steep and open-tread. Fine if you're steady on your feet.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
Location wise, you're in the Conwy Valley. It's quiet here. You can walk straight from the door onto the paths. Go up the lane behind the bothy and you'll get to Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant, two nice lakes. In the village, a few minutes' walk down the hill, there's a shop post office, a good butcher, two pubs, a cafe, and a restaurant. The Trefriw Woollen Mill is worth a look. The Fairy Falls are a short, steep walk up from the village.
For bigger days out, Surf Snowdonia and Zip World are about a 20-minute drive. Betws-y-Coed is ten minutes away. The coast at Conwy or Llandudno is about half an hour. For walking, cycling, or general planning, Snowdonia National Park and Visit Wales have good information.
We've also got The Barn and The Farmhouse on the same farm. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
