The Bothy At Gelli Newydd
The Bothy at Gelli Newydd is in Trefriw. It's a stone and wood building, detached, so it's on its own. Sleeps two, one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished. There's underfloor heating, so it's always warm. The wood burner is more for the look of it than anything else. You can use it if you want. The bed is a kingsize.
Outside, there's a hot tub on the patio. The view is over the Conwy Valley. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there with an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a sofa, and a TV. WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog.
Trefriw village is a few minutes walk downhill. There are two pubs, a shop, a cafe, and the Trefriw Woollen Mill. The path to the Fairy Falls starts opposite one of the pubs. It's a short, steep walk.
From the cottage, you can walk up into the hills. You'll find Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant. They're quiet lakes.
For bigger days out, Zip World and Surf Snowdonia are about a 20-minute drive. Betws-y-Coed is 10 minutes away. Conwy town and its castle are 15 minutes by car. The National Trust has a few sites nearby, like Bodnant Garden. The Snowdonia National Park website is good for planning walks.
The place has a cot and highchair if you need them. It can be booked with the other properties here if you're in a bigger group.
