Cefn Bach
Cefn Bach is an old farm cottage near Padog. It's detached, so nobody's sharing a wall. The farm's still working and you're welcome to walk around the trail they've got.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was renovated, so it's comfortable, but it's from about 1800 so you can feel that too. The stairs are cottage stairs. Steep and twisty.
The garden is yours. It's got a patio with a table and a BBQ. There's a wood burner in the living room. It's got all the stuff you'd expect: TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
You get free use of the leisure centre in Betws-y-Coed. That's about three miles away. It's got a pool, gym, sauna, all that. Betws has shops and places to eat.
For days out, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. Snowdonia National Park has all the walking and scenery you could ask for. There's horse riding nearby. A few golf courses within a short drive. The coast, like Llandudno, is about 40 minutes away if you fancy the beach.
It's a quiet spot. You're in the middle of the scenery but not totally isolated. Useful link for planning: Visit Wales.
