Trem Y Cwm is our place in Capel Garmon, near Conwy. It's a converted barn on a small working farm. You're up on the side of a quiet valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor, which is handy. Two bathrooms as well. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and has things like underfloor heating. It's warm in winter. There's a log burner.
The water comes from our own spring. We generate some electricity from the stream. That's just how it is here.
You’re welcome to walk around the farm. Kids can collect eggs for breakfast if they want to. The garden patio is yours to use, with a barbecue. The views from there are across the valley to the mountains.
Betws-y-Coed is about ten minutes by car. Llanrwst is a bit further. For the big mountains, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. You can be walking from Ogwen Valley or up around Llanberis in well under half an hour.
Conwy town and its castle are about a twenty minute drive. The National Trust looks after a few places nearby if that's your interest.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs. The bedding and towels are included.
If you're a bigger group, we have the barn next door, Trem Y Foel, which can be booked together with this one.
