This is Tŷ Ar Y Tro. It's in Llan Ffestiniog, which is a village in Snowdonia. The cottage is, well, wedge shaped. It's built in the corner where two terraces meet, so it's wider at the front. It sounds odd but it works. There's enough room inside.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom is a decent size and it has a door through to the smaller single room. Downstairs is open plan. Some of the walls are the original slate, which looks good. The kitchen is modern. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Outside, there's a patio area with a table and chairs. It's not a big garden, but it's yours to use.
The village pub is about a three minute walk. They do food. There's also a shop nearby. For more restaurants, you'd drive a few minutes.
You're right in Snowdonia here. For walking, you just go out the door. The Snowdonia National Park site has routes. Blaenau Ffestiniog is ten minutes away by car. That's where Zip World is, with the big ziplines and the underground play area, Bounce Below. You'll hear the Ffestiniog Railway steam trains chuffing past sometimes. They go down to Porthmadog.
Porthmadog is about a twenty minute drive. Black Rock Sands is there, a big beach you can drive onto. Portmeirion is also near Porthmadog. It's worth a look.
In terms of what's here: there's a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
