Tŷ Ar Y Tro is in Llan Ffestiniog, which is a village in Snowdonia. It's one of a terrace. The cottage is wedge-shaped because it's built into the corner of the row, so the back is narrower than the front. It doesn't feel cramped inside though.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is a good size and has a door through to the smaller single room. So it's a bit like a suite. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's rated 4 Star. It's clean and well looked after.
The living area is open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The walls are exposed slate in places, which looks nice. The kitchen is modern and has what you need. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is a patio area.
You can bring up to two pets.
There's a pub about a three minute walk away. It serves food. The village shop is a similar distance.
You're right in Snowdonia here. For walking, it's a good base. The Ffestiniog Railway steam trains run nearby, you can hear them sometimes. It's about a ten minute drive to Blaenau Ffestiniog, where the Zip World and Bounce Below attractions are. Porthmadog and the coast are about a half hour drive. That's where you find the big beach at Black Rock Sands and Portmeirion.
