It's called Primrose 47. It's a detached static caravan on a site in Prenteg, just outside Porthmadog. You get your own patio and garden area.
It sleeps six, which is a lot for two bedrooms. One's a double, the other has four singles in it. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern, but it's still a caravan, so the space is what you'd expect.
The site has the Aberdunant Hall Hotel on it, which does restaurant meals. It's a Victorian manor house, you can walk to it. You'd need to book. Good dog walks start right outside.
For shops, Tremadog village is about two miles away. It's got a convenience store, a couple of pubs, and a fish and chip shop.
You're right in the Snowdonia National Park. Porthmadog harbour is a few minutes' drive. The Welsh Highland Railway goes from there. Portmeirion, that Italianate village, is very close. Black Rock Sands beach is nearby too, you can drive onto it.
Beddgelert is less than ten minutes up the road. Lovely village, good for walks. Snowdon itself is about a 30 minute drive for the main paths.
If you've got kids or want activities, there's a lot. Bounce Below, the underground trampolines, is close. Zip World and Antur Stiniog for bikes are within half an hour. Surf Snowdonia, the artificial wave, is about 25 minutes away.
Facilities: parking right outside, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
