Perthi Bach

This is Perthi Bach. It's a small, detached place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. There's another house on the grounds but it's very separate. You get your own garden and a parking spot.

It's got a five-star rating. That means it's comfortable and everything works well. It's modern and clean inside. The shower is good.

It's on the edge of Porthmadog, so you can walk into town in a few minutes. There's a Co-op supermarket, some pubs that do food, and a few cafes. The harbour is nice to walk around.

The big thing here is the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway. The station is in town. You can get steam trains up into the mountains or down to the coast. It's a proper day out. Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway.

The beach is five minutes in the car. Black Rock Sands is massive when the tide's out. You can drive onto it. Portmeirion, that Italian village, is just down the road. It's a bit odd but worth seeing once. Portmeirion.

You're right by the Snowdonia National Park. The mountains start pretty much as soon as you leave Porthmadog. For walking, the coastal path goes right past. You can walk to Borth-y-Gest, which is a nice little seaside village.

If you want to go further, Harlech Castle is about twenty minutes south. Criccieth Castle is closer, maybe fifteen minutes. For something more active, Blaenau Ffestiniog is half an hour inland. That's where Zip World and Bounce Below are, in the old slate mines.

The place has a wood burner, a BBQ, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's fine for two dogs. There's an enclosed garden.
