Perthi Bach

This is Perthi Bach. It's in Porthmadog, a harbour town right on the edge of Snowdonia. The cottage is detached and sits in the grounds of another house, but it's completely private. You've got your own enclosed garden and off-street parking.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Everything you need is there.

You can walk into Porthmadog centre in a few minutes. There are shops, supermarkets, and places to eat. The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam railways start here too, which is good if you like trains.

Black Rock Sands is a few minutes' drive away. It's a big beach with dunes. Portmeirion, that Italian-style village, is just down the road. The coastal path goes from here to Borth-y-Gest, which is a nice walk along the water.

The whole Llŷn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk for miles along the coast or up in the hills. You might see dolphins or seals from the headlands.

For a day out, Harlech Castle is about a twenty minute drive down the coast. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site. Criccieth Castle is closer. Inland, around Blaenau Ffestiniog, there's Zip World and Bounce Below if you're after something more active.

The cottage has a woodburning stove, a BBQ in the garden, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
