Golwg Y Mor

This is the cottage in Criccieth, Golwg Y Mor. It means 'Sea View'. It's on the hill overlooking the beach and the castle.

It's a 5 Star property. That's an official rating. It means it's well kitted out and in good order. It's clean and modern inside. The main thing is the view. It's a full width look over Cardigan Bay. You can see for miles.

It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is en-suite. There's a living room downstairs and another upstairs, which is where you get the best view. It does feel a bit like being on the front of a ship. The decking outside is on two levels. It gets the sun.

Criccieth is a small town. There's a pebble beach about a five minute walk down the hill. The castle is even closer. There are a few cafes, a couple of restaurants, and shops along the front. There's a pub as well.

You can walk into Snowdonia from here. The National Park boundary is about five miles away. Porthmadog is just along the coast. The Welsh Highland Railway station is there if you fancy a steam train trip. The Llyn Peninsula starts just the other side of town.

The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
