Golwg Y Mor is in Criccieth. It's a modern coastal house perched on the hill above the town. The main thing you should know is the view. The living room upstairs is all glass on one side, looking straight out to sea. It really is quite something, especially in a storm.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one with a shower. It's a luxury, 5-star place. That means it's well kept, everything works, and it's comfortable. It's open plan downstairs.
Outside there's decking on two levels. You sit out there and watch the boats. You might even see porpoises.
The beach is a five minute walk downhill. It's pebbly. The town has a few shops, pubs, and cafes, all within walking distance. Criccieth Castle is right there in the middle of it. For a bigger castle, Harlech Castle is about half an hour's drive.
Porthmadog is just five miles away. That's where you get the Welsh Highland Railway steam trains into the mountains. The Snowdonia National Park starts about the same distance away. You can be walking up there very quickly.
For facilities, it's got the things you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Towels might be important, as it says no pets.
If you're planning trips, the Snowdonia National Park website is useful. So is Visit Wales for North Wales.
