Dwyfach

This is Dwyfach. It's on our farm, Aberkin, just outside the village of Llanystumdwy. It's quiet here, out in the fields.

It's a single-storey cottage, so everything is on one level. Good if stairs are a problem, and it's wheelchair accessible. We converted the building a while back; it used to be a farm building. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's not a showhome.

Outside, you have your own bit of patio and garden. You can park right by the cottage. There's a kids' play area a short walk away on the farm.

The farm is a working one, so you might see sheep or hear a tractor. The rivers Dwyfach and Dwyfor run along the boundary here on their way to the sea. You're about 500 yards from the main coast road. Criccieth and its beach are about a mile and a half down that road. It's a sheltered, sandy beach. The village has shops and a few pubs.

You're right on the edge of the Llŷn Peninsula. Snowdonia is only a few miles inland. Good for walking. There's a local golf course and horse riding can be arranged nearby.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. All the bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
