Gelli Gron (Open Pastures)
Gelli Gron is a modern farmhouse near Llanarmon. It's detached, so there are no neighbours on the other side of the wall. It looks out over the fields where our cattle are. The place is quiet.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, one is attached to a bedroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The kitchen is big, with a large table for everyone to sit at. There are two separate sitting rooms, both with good views. You can see the sea from here, way off in the distance.
You can walk from the door down the lanes. The village of Llangybi is a short walk away. It's a typical old village with an ancient church. Criccieth is the main town nearby, about four miles. It has shops, a few restaurants, and the castle. The nearest beach is about five miles, at Criccieth.
For a bigger beach, Black Rock Sands is very close to Criccieth. The whole Llyn Peninsula is right there for exploring. Portmeirion is about a twenty minute drive. National Trust Snowdonia has several places within half an hour, like Plas yn Rhiw. The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park boundary is about a twenty-five minute drive east.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. Parking is right outside. It has step-free access into the property. Sorry, no pets.
