Dwyfor is a cottage on our farm, Aberkin. It's in Llanystumdwy, just outside Criccieth on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a single-storey place, which means you've got no stairs inside. It's converted from a very old farm building.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The layout is open plan. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped.
Because it's a working farm, there are animals around. You'll see sheep in the fields. The cottages are set back from the road. It's quiet, but you can hear farm sounds sometimes.
Criccieth is about a mile and a half away. There's a castle there on the headland, and a good sandy beach. There's a shop and a few pubs in the village.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. It's a short drive into the Snowdonia National Park. For a big day out, Portmeirion is about twenty minutes down the coast. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like Craflwyn.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's parking right outside your door. The garden is yours to use. It has wheelchair access throughout.
If you're bringing children, there's a play area on the farm they can use.
