Gaerwen

This is Gaerwen. It's on the high street in Criccieth. You're right in the middle of things here, so you can walk to the shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs in about a minute.

It's a Victorian terraced house, sleeps six, with four bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is a bit different because you go up a flight of stairs to get to the front door on the first floor. The main living room is on the second floor at the top. You get a good view from there, out over the sea and towards the mountains.

There's an enclosed lawn garden you get to from the first floor. It's level, which is handy, and it looks out over fields.

The castle is just down the hill, really impressive on its rock. The beach is a couple of minutes' walk. You can pick up the Wales Coast Path from there. The views across Cardigan Bay are very good on a clear day.

If you want to drive out, Snowdonia is about half an hour away for walks. Portmeirion is about fifteen minutes down the road. The Lleyn Peninsula has plenty of other beaches to explore if you fancy a drive.

In the house you've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking. No pets, I'm afraid.
