Snowdon House
Snowdon House is in Porthmadog. It’s a big place, sleeps sixteen. Eight bedrooms, six bathrooms.
The main thing here is the extra space. There’s a separate building above the garage with a cinema room and a games room. The cinema has a big screen and enough seats for everyone. The games room has a pool and air hockey table, and a foosball table.
Access to that annex is through the courtyard. There are stairs up to it. They’re not ideal if you have limited mobility or very small children. The annex does have a ground floor bedroom with a wet room though.
The main house has a couple of steps on the ground floor. We can provide blocks to make a ramp. Doorways into the main house are 80cm wide.
Inside the main house there’s a lounge with a log burner. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining table fits everyone. The bedrooms are done up nicely with good mattresses.
Location is straightforward. You’re about a hundred yards from a pub and restaurant. The beach at Black Rock Sands is a mile away. Portmeirion is very close. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway starts in Porthmadog.
A short drive gets you to Harlech Castle and its beach. For activities, Blaenau Ffestiniog is about thirty minutes away. That’s where Zip World and Bounce Below are.
Facilities are what you’d expect for the rating. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included. On site parking. You can bring two dogs. There’s an enclosed garden.
