The Barn
This is The Barn. It's in Talsarnau, near Harlech. It's a detached barn conversion next to our house, but it's completely private. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the estuary towards Portmeirion and Cardigan Bay.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's Wi-Fi and TV. We include all the bedding and towels.
You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that. There's a patio with a BBQ and it gets the sun in the evening. Parking is right outside.
The local pub and restaurant is a five minute walk. It's good. The nearest shop is in Harlech, about three miles away. The beach is a five minute drive.
You're right in Snowdonia National Park. You can walk from the door into the hills in about half an hour. For days out, Harlech Castle is very close. The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways are nearby in Porthmadog. The Zip World and Bounce Below stuff at Llechwedd is about fifteen minutes drive. Coed-y-Brenin for mountain bikes is not far either.
Further afield, you've got Portmeirion village, Bala Lake, Betws-y-Coed, and the Llyn Peninsula all within a half hour drive or so.
