Rhiwgoch
This is Rhiwgoch. It's a farmhouse just outside Harlech in North Wales. You're up on a quiet lane, so the views are good. You can see the mountains and a bit of the coast from here.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been checked for quality and comfort. It's a solid, well-equipped place.
The house is warm. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. You get an enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. There's parking right here.
Inside, it's got what you need: WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. We leave bedding and towels for you. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones, and a stairgate at the top of the stairs.
You can bring dogs, up to two. The garden is enclosed but please keep an eye on them because of the lane and the fields around.
Harlech is about a mile down the hill. You can walk it, but it's steep coming back. The castle is right there, and there's a good beach. The town has shops, a couple of restaurants, and the golf course.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park for walking and cycling. Portmeirion is about 15 minutes' drive. Barmouth and Porthmadog are maybe 20 minutes in the car. For a different day out, the Ffestiniog Railway is over in Porthmadog, or you can drive to Bala for the lake railway.
